Luca has been crawling all over the house. The only problem is when he crawls from place to place he has to leave his toys behind. So he figured out a very primative way of taking his toys with him. Hopefully, when he starts walking he won't have to do this.

I know it's been a while since the last post. Sorry to all the people who check it regularly. School is in full swing and that keeps mommy and daddy busy. Luca is having lots of fun with his new friends at day care. Here are some other random things that have been going on.

Goodbye Summer

Well, summer is all but over and while that makes us sad it also means there are other things to look forward to. Fall is very exciting for us. There is Cross Country season, Chicago Bears games, Homecomings (IHS and CMU), and Luca's 1st birthday! So long summer!

Luca did his first (of what Daddy hopes is many) 5ks today at the Ithaca Family Fun Fest. He ran with Mommy, Uncle Cam and Aunt Jilli. Actually Luca fell asleep before the first mile while Uncle Cam did All the work.

My 1st Cross Country Camp

I went to my first cross country camp this weekend with my Daddy's team. They sure did run a lot! It was a lot of fun.

Lesley and JB's Wedding

We spent this past weekend in Petoskey and Charlevoix celebrating Lesley and JB's wedding. We had a great time "up north." Once again Luca enjoyed a night of entertaining and dancing before he fell asleep with mommy and daddy on the dance floor. Apparently he ate too many cheerios at the reception.

Jared and Kim's Wedding Part II

Jared and Kim's wedding was a blast. It was such a great location and the weather was perfect.


Luca had a great time. He drank almost an entire glass of water since we were at 9000 feet above sea level, it was like two glasses. He was such a trooper and then he fell asleep on the dance floor.

















The next day we had the glory days 5k. Josiah out kicked Richie for a new course record. Luca fell asleep.

Jared and Kim's Wedding Part I

We all flew to Colorado for Jared and Kim's big day. We are staying with our friends Josiah and Ingrid and their two kids Sullivan and Porter. Today was the rehearsal dinner and afterwards we took the gondola to the top of Vail mountain.
