The Reader

Luca loves his Eric Carle books. This is one of his favorites. You would think he is actually reading it but if you know the words you understand why he is not. The book is called "Polar Bear, Polar Bear what do you hear?" However, he is getting it mixed up with another one of his favorites, "Brown Bear, Brown Bear what do you see?" Either way, it is very entertaining for us to watch. He is such a character!

Watching Cars, Playing Cars

Luca loves the movie "Cars." He has a big collection of toy cars thanks to Papa Gene. He also got this race track from Papa Gene for Christmas. So here he is watching the movie cars, playing with cars, and wearing his "Cars" pajamas.

Determination

Every Thursday Luca goes to the gym with Crystal and his friends at day care. Crystal said today he ran laps around the gym for 30 minutes straight! And after a few laps he had a bunch of the other kids running with him. Obviously the boy is around a lot of running and runners. We certainly don't push it on him but we are thrilled that he enjoys it. Anyway, I guess 30 minutes wasn't enough because he insisted on running on the treadmill also.
