two weeks old

Little Luca is two weeks old today. So what has he been doing for two weeks? Well, his favorite activities include eating, sleeping and pooping. Somtimes all at the same tme. We have our favorites too. We love it when he just looks at us and makes funny faces. Mommy likes to read him books. Daddy likes to squeeze his chubby cheeks and play music for him. Sometimes Luca will even bundle up in his little bouncer and watch Soap Operas with mommy. But we all like Luca's bath time because it brings out all of his funny expressions.

My first Thanksgiving

Grandma and Grandpa Schuler, Aunt Jilli and Uncle Cam came to my house for Thanksgiving this year. It was fun. I wore my hippie child outfit when they got here and they all said I look really cute. Then on Thanksgiving Day, I put on my little turkey outfit. I was so tired since I stayed up crying until 3 am the night before that I slept most of the day. So everyone just passed me around while I slept.

Luca, I am your father...

Everything I need to know in life, I learned from Star Wars. In this case, if you want your son to stop crying, don't underestimate the power of the darkside.

Luca's first trip out of the house

Luca had his first visit to the doctor today and he is doing great. He has gained 3 ounces which means he is eating well. I never doubted that since I change a lot of his diapers. Luca didn't like his car seat at first but eventually he was doing so well in it that we decided to go through the carwash. Luca wasn't too impressed.

going home

We left the hospital on Friday November 16th. The outfit we packed was way to big so he looked like a shrunken old man. That weekend Grandma Lebron and Cousin Alexis came to visit. Cousin Alexis read him his first book, "The Very Hungy Caterpillar."

the beginning

I was born at 5:45 on November 14th in Alma. I was 8 lbs 10 ounces and 20 1/2 inches long. I had a fairly easy entrance to the world. I cried a little but then I just looked at all the people who were passing me around.
