Luca had a great weekend. Saturday we went to a track meet at Grand Valley State University and Luca was very interested in watching the runners and the pole vaulters. After the meet Luca got to run around the track himself and he got a kick out of that. Then we went shopping and went to dinner. So when we got home Luca was very tired. He was in need of his beauty sleep. I have always wondered what the expression means, "needs his beauty sleep" until I went to kiss him goodnight and saw this:
That has to be the perfect sleeping pose for "beauty sleep."
On Sunday, we went to early church and played outside in the snow. Luca went sledding and we fixed the snowman that fell over a couple of weeks ago. So once again, he was very tired. We spent the cold afternoon cuddled up on the couch watching Luca's #1 favorite movie, "Finding Nemo."
